  In “Voices of Light”, wonderfully illustrated by Marina Karella with nuances and lights, prince Michael of Greece offers his vision and his use of prayer, which he collected through his personal experiences as well as through the wise men and initiates from all ages and every continent. Whilst civilizations dominated by materialism are being challenged and our world is coming to an end, it is necessary to start praying and to love one another, and oneself, away from the segregating dogmas. We can channel the infinite Light that still shines through us and within us. Michael of Greece is the author of many purely historical books (“The Bourbon Rajah”, “Le vol du Régent”, “La Bouboulina”) and romanticized history (“The white nights of Saint Petersburg” ,“Le Palais des Larmes”, “La conjuration de Jeanne”) which have been translated into many languages. A distinguished writer and respected historian, he has never concealed his great interest in matters of the “hereafter”, such as the forces of the spirit, spiritual presences and life after death which can be discovered in some of his most daring works like “These women from beyond” and “Le ruban noir de Lady Beresford”. Marina Karella, a well known painter and sculptor, has works in the permanent collection of the Pompidou Center . She exhibits in Paris , New York , Athens , Madrid . In 1965, she married Prince Michael of Greece .
